Anthropologie for Less: Boho Chic Headboard and Bedding {Sneak Peek 2}

Over the last few weeks, I've been knee-deep in hammering out plans for our bedroom DIY makeover I'm doing to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

I have always drooled over the ruffled bedding dreams are made of at Anthropologie, but I always tried to look natural when I looked at the price tag and thought, "The comforter alone costs half of what our week long honeymoon in Vegas did!!!" But I found these beautiful king size Rivulets Shams for $24.99 on the Anthropologie website (regular $128 for a set of 2)!!!! That's $104 savings!

This pillow also seriously made me squeal and fueled my Anthro-affinity, but since it's last season, it's out of stock, so I am going to do a knock-off (tutorial coming soon!)

This reclaimed fence is going to be a gorgeous addition (believe it or not) to the complete look once I'm finished going boho on it! As you can see from the pic below, it's already gotten a little shabby with some kelly green paint!

As for the iron, I can't wait to show you the plans for that! It's definitely going to add to the anthro-inspired feel in the room.  I'll tell you more when I reveal the headboard tutorial!

I hope this inspires you to start thinking of how you can achieve Anthro for less!

    1. Thanks Kim! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! I will absolutely link it up!!! I love your headboard, and I will be pounding on the magazine stand waiting for the BHG issue you appear in!

  2. Funny, my hubs and I are celebrating our 8th this weekend, and we wanted to get a hotel downtown {we live in Chicago}, but for the price, we could makeover our whole room! :)

    I dream of that Anthro bedding in white or grey. Somewhere in my pins, I read another blog MADE that bedding. \\

    I look forward to your makeover, so i just added you to my reader.
    Have a great weekend,

    1. Nicolette! I love your profile pic! I have seen that duvet you're talking about! It's crazy how adorable it is!

      I can't sew, so I'm cheating by buying the Target Shabby Chic tufted duvet.

      Happy Anniversary! I hope it's a good one no matter what you do!

  3. Oh this is going to be good. Can't wait to see more!!!

    1. Thanks, Brandi! I finally got some more done.
