Small Things are Big: 14 Days Until Justin Trade Days

Don't underestimate the impact of small goal setting, small accomplishments, or small decorative changes.  These small glimpses are part of the big picture.

I could have easily passed up this frame you see above.  It is small, it was a gutted of it's glass and filler that goes behind the picture.  I could have underestimated the statement this small frame could provide because it didn't require a total makeover.  It took me 20 minutes or less to finalize it's look.  My heart really wanted to do a major makeover on one of the several tables in my garage right now.  Small things are big.

Check out the way the colors of the frame tie together the books to the wall to the entry table.  With all the big pieces to work on, I thought it was important to stop and show you that you don't need to throw out your look.  Tweak.  Most people's budgets, even the people in THAT neighborhood you love, can't overhaul something overnight.  Be patient with your budget and projects.  This 20 minute little frame just made this design work.  THAT is big.

I created this piece for my boutique premiere, and I'm counting down the days by posting my merchandise makeovers in a daily series.

13 Days: Spent Time With My Family (No Post)

  1. Love the look! Thanks for stopping by, and my kids have nut allergies too to always try to modify recipes and treats to not use nuts. Good luck with your boutique!

    1. Thank you! I am so glad you told me about your recipe modifications! I will be sharing with all the nut allergy people I know!
