Wanderlust Wednesday #4 - Christmas & Decor

I can't believe we're already at the 4th Wanderlust Wednesday! I am so excited to see all the new faces and all the wonderful projects.  Here's what we've been up to! Get ready!

Here's sweet Carter proudly decorating our tree.  He and Peyton decided to get started while mom and dad were upstairs.  I don't know if you can tell, but those colored lights are actually on two limbs and not on the floor as you might perceive.  HAHA! I love it!

It didn't stay like this long due to "safety concerns".  We couldn't have a fire or our dog tripping over the lights.  We always want to involve our kids, so I would have left it like this if it weren't a fire/tripping hazard.  I rearranged the lights and beads, and we all pitched in to bring you this:

Remember my handmade Crushed Glass Glitter Ornament?

I love how it goes perfectly with the color palette.  Notice the green disco ball? Carter kept saying give me a dis-COE ball! I was laughing so hard! I love how he put the accent on the second word.  YEA!

On to this week's features! Here's Jessie Euletha's awesome keepsake ornament.  What a great way to celebrate baby's first Christmas!

And Karen from Redoux totally made a blah bookshelf into this treasure!

Now's the time to link up YOUR projects so we can wander around and check YOU out!
Welcome to Wanderlust Wednesday! This is a blog party on wheels, y'all!
Tell your bloggy friends you want to go on a road trip!

This is how this party ROLLS (party rules):
  1. Link up your posts (permalinks to actual posts, not your home URL) about room makeovers, life lessons, DIY projects, recipes, furniture makeovers, and all things creative.  Feel free to link up several, you party animal.  But please don't get crazy- refrain from linking up your parties, giveaways & items for sale because then you will make me call the Linky Police who will remove you due to disturbing the peace.
  2. Wander to 2 people below you and leave some comment love on each one.   Seriously, this is a party you want to be at.  This blog thing is "all about who knows who and favoritism. " All the popular people will be at this party ;D.  Well, YOU are here, aren't you?
  3. Goody-two-shoes will be rewarded! Follow these rules, and link back to me with my button below or a text link to http://howdy-honey.com, and YOU could be featured.  Following me will lead to feature favoritism.  You dig?
If you were featured by Howdy Honey this week, please download your feature button to display in your trophy case.

    1. Thanks for linking up, Claire. Canton was OVERWHELMING! I was like an overstimulated baby, and it actually makes me think I talked out of turn. I think I want to go smaller, but we'll see!

  2. Thanks for the love! That is the cutest picture of your son and the tree. I love a tree with a kid touch. The perfectly decorated trees are for people who don't have enough fun!

  3. Hey lady! New follower here :) Thanks so much for leaving your comment love towards the Cans For Comments event! If you want to follow me back, I'm donating $1 for every new follow to our local animal shelter.

Your blog definitely is on to great things, I love it! Your tree is beautiful and I really like that Baby's First Christmas ornament. Although it's my daughter's 2nd Christmas, I think I might still make one for my parents and in-laws. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to reading more :)
