You Were Mint For Me: Anthro for Less

I have been obsessed with mint. ARE YOU? I have seen a few pieces of furniture and many pairs of jeans that make me want to make this color my own, so I did. I mixed it up with a few colors I already love. GASP! No, they are not Annie Sloan or Miss Mustard Seed colors. It's not that I don't LOVE their colors. I just needed to break out of my paint can and do try something new. Since I decided to make a focus on creating decor at different price points, I wanted to create a color palette of my own to help with the ordering process.

Here is MINT in it's debut piece- a towel hook made from stained reclaimed pallet wood.

Adjust your cute-viewers! Here is a Howdy Honey Towel Hook paired up with an Anthropologie dish towel.  It's one way to bring your home a little Anthropologie for less! It's one from the Dotted Jacquard Dishtowels set.  The towels are in the $25 range for a set of 3, and the impact is large.  Check out the pop against this white wall.

If you want to get that boho chic look for rock bottom, another Anthro for less suggestion I have is to frequent their sale section of their website.  The thing is to be flexible.  You might not find what you want when you want it.  My sweet husband bought me this amazing Tea-And-Crumpets Apron for Christmas, and it happens to be an AMAZING price right now ($19.95)!

Don't you just love it? I'm trying to emulate my local store and duplicate that home sweet home vibe with some reclaimed wood.

I will be creating some more upcycled goodness from pallets, including some chalkboards like the one I created for my husband's office

By the way, it recently was featured at Three Mango Seeds! I was so over-the-moon about that.  Clydia does amazing work, and if you don't already know her, you'll be pinning her stuff until kingdom come! AMAZING typography furniture.

I am so thankful for your comment & Facebook love! I love what I do, and when you love it, that's a double bonus! You were MINT for me, and I was MINT for you!

Keep up, Honey!
